The history of ITOCHU Corporation dates back to 1858 when the Company's founder Chubei Itoh commenced linen trading operations. Since then, ITOCHU has evolved and grown over 150 years. Southland Holding Co., Ltd
Southland Rubber Co., Ltd was established in 1986 by a group of shareholders who had already more than 20 years experience in NR producing, marketing and exporting. Business operation commenced in April 1987 with one factory at Surathani and producing only 1,000 tonnes a month.
Over the years the company grew to establish 16 factories - 12 in Thailand, 1 in Malaysia, 2 in Indonesia and 1 in India. Bangklam Latex obtained ISO 14000 certification in 2001.
From an initial capital of less than US$1 million in 1986, by the end of 2012, shareholders’ equity had exceeded US$200 million.

PT Aneka Bumi Pratama is engaged in processing and export of crumb rubber. The Company is located in Palembang and its factories are the same location. The Company is one of the many subsidiaries owned by Itochu Corporation, Japan.

Thaitech Rubber Corporation Ltd is one of the major STR20 producers in Thailand. It was founded in 1991 and co-owned by Itochu Corporation (33%), Southland Rubber Co., Ltd (33.5%) and Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited(33.5%). The Head office is based in Hatyai from which it operates 3 factories in Hatyai, Trang and Pattani. Annual production is about 150,000MT which it sells to the major international tire-makers as well as to China.
